Cardiology Associates of West Texas is honored to announce that Dr. Dimitrios Miserlis has joined our medical team to further elevate the treatment of cardiovascular disease.  Dr. Dimitrios Miserlis is a vascular and endovascular surgeon.   His work integrates advanced clinical care with translational research to develop next-generation technologies—including artificial intelligence, biomedical devices, and novel therapeutics—and surgical techniques for patients with complex arterial disease, especially those with limited or no standard treatment options.


His work has been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals, and he participates in national and international meetings, committees, and collaborative consortia.

Advanced Training


Since 2018, Dr. Miserlis has helped lead multidisciplinary collaborations spanning vascular surgery, biomedical science, and engineering (biomedical, mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering).


His research and development efforts focus on expanding the modern surgical armamentarium through innovative diagnostic and interventional tools, with an emphasis on limb salvage, arterial disease, tissue remodeling, wound healing, and critical limb ischemia.
